DESIGN, and it's associated craft informs all aspects of Iris' life.  She is passionate about gardening, sharing and cooking that bounty, art, literature and theater.  She's equally inspired by the city where she resides as by the Catskills where she also has a home. She lives with her husband and son.

IABD’s work has played, and continues to play, a crucial role in defining, and then refining and enhancing, who we are and what we do. It is endlessly inventive, full of wit and grace and a nimble intelligence, much like its creator.
— Gus Rogerson, Artistic Director, The 52nd Street Project
