NATIVE AMERICAN FILM AND MEDIA CELEBRATION
The Association on American Indian Affairs partnered with Lincoln Center to inaugurate the annual Native American Film and Media Celebration: Wind and Glacier Voices. We were so pleased to be asked to brand this event and produce all the needed collateral which included logo development, a press kit, schedule brochure, keepsake event program, gala invitation package and the design of the filmmaker's award. To best communicate the concept of Native American + Film, we chose the iconic eagle feather—celebrated by all Native American tribes—and had it metamorphosing to a film strip.
All materials use were chosen for their environmental bona fides, no glue was used in construction, and the hand binding with leather and beads (press kit folder and event invitation) illustrated respect of Native American craft.
