THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
A ROUNDABOUT THEATRE
COMPANY GALA
Tony® winning actor, Alan Cumming, earned the moniker “The Life of the Party” after inhabiting the Emcee role—not in one, or two, but in three productions of Cabaret. Our inspiration for the gala design came from the play’s infamous Kit Kat Klub and it’s pre-WWII setting in Berlin, Germany.
From the textured black stock used for the cover, we laser die-cut the title to expose the glossy red page behind it—the graphic contrasts creating all the drama needed. The sold-out event raised more funds than any previous Roundabout Theatre event.
Roundabout is one of the leading cultural institutions in New York City and the largest not-for-profit theater in America. With five stages on and off Broadway, Roundabout reaches over a million theatergoers, students, educators and artists across the country and around the world every year.
